Fitness & Well Being
Learn to accept yourself for who you are and find a way to keep everything in balance.
I want to ensure that community fitness classes are available for all ages & levels of ability. It doesn’t matter if you are new to exercise completely or just want to try something new. I want to work with you to deliver classes which you find fun and enjoyable and help you to achieve your fitness goals.
My aim is to spend time getting to know each and every client and identify what you enjoy or don’t enjoy so we can build classes that work for everyone.
After spending many years struggling with weight management and hating my body I am finally learning to accept myself for who I am and found a way to keep everything in balance. I have discovered the huge impact that self-care and exercise have had on my mental health and feel so much more positive when I am looking after myself.
I have tried every diet going over the years – some sensible, but some totally crazy like the cabbage soup diet back in the 90’s. I tried SlimFast™ but had the milkshakes as drinks to go with my meals as I felt deprived of food – surprisingly it didn’t work! I became totally obsessed with the scales and my mood for the day would be based on what the number said in a morning. If it wasn’t what I hoped to see I would spend the day beating myself up and talking negatively to myself. Again, this didn’t help me to achieve my goals!
I have found a way that is working for me and I would like to use my knowledge and experience to support other people to adopt healthier lifestyles and mindset. Stop focusing on the scales and focus on how you feel.

Sarah’s body conditioning circuit is suitable for all abilities as you work at your own level. The class will compromise of different stations where you work at your own pace for a set period of time before moving onto the next station. There will be a mixture of resistance work using weights and body weight and cardiovascular exercises to build stamina and endurance. This class can be high impact for those who want to challenge themselves but equally suited to beginners who want an introduction to circuits.
Tuesday’s 6:30 – 7:30pm
Saturday’s 10:00 – 11:00am
Boxercise is an exercise concept based on the training methods used by boxers. When I first became interested in fitness I avoided it as I am totally against boxing and could never imagine fighting. However, I soon learnt that this is not what Boxercise is about. It is a fun, challenging and safe workout which is great for stress busting, accessible to all ages and fitness levels. It is not a martial arts class & I am definitely not teaching you how to box! Session’s will involve hitting focus pads but no class ever involves hitting an opponent, the focus is purely on improving fitness. If you want to try something new, come along and have a go.
