About Us

Sarah Plumb

My name is Sarah and I am a married mother of 2 teenagers. I have faced challenges in my life which I have learnt to overcome. I initially trained and worked as a nursery nurse, specialising in maternity practice taking care of newborn’s and supporting families to establish routines and positive sleep habits. I recognise how life changing becoming a parent can be and nothing could have prepared me for the emotional pull of becoming a mother for the first time. I empathise with new parents and strive to support them to ensure the transition to parenthood is an enjoyable and positive experience.

I progressed to training as a paediatric nurse and gained experience working with young people who are experiencing mental health issues.

I am passionate about improving outcomes for young people and assisting them and supporting with strategies which will promote positive mental and physical health to encourage a healthy lifestyle and positive attitude through adolescence.

I have decided to train as a psychotherapist and will be working towards my qualifications during the next few years. I am also working towards my fitness qualifications to enable me to teach fitness classes to support my passion to improve overall health outcomes for all. I will be developing classes appropriate for all members of the community by the end of the year.
