About Us

After many years working as a Paediatric Nurse and Maternity Nanny, Sarah established SLP support services in 2019 to provide practical & emotional support and advice to parents of newborns.

Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic Sarah worked with families, offering 1:1 support within the family home to assist with establishing routines, encourage healthy sleep habits and offered reassurance to build confidence in parenting.

Through working in A&E, school nursing and in family homes Sarah developed an interest in the mental health and physical wellbeing of her clients, and went on to train as a fitness instructor, alongside training to be a counselling therapist.

SLP Support Services has now expanded to offer a range of services including fitness classes (both online and face to face), personal training, post-natal support & counselling therapy (online, walk and talk & face to face).

Sarah specialises in Women’s Health and the impact of life changes such as puberty, childbirth and menopause. If you are feeling stuck and would like to make changes to your lifestyle or struggling with your mental health, SLP Support Services offer a free 30 minute consultation to establish which of the services would be most appropriate for you. In order to work ethically Sarah is unable to offer therapy to any current fitness clients.
